Renting from Worthwhile Wardrobe

Browse

  • Browse our collection by clothing size, clothing type or by occasion to find your perfect item. 
  • Worthwhile Wardrobe's collection comprises donations of high-quality, lightly worn occasionwear pieces from hospice supporters and new stock from local businesses. ACS Clothing support cleaning and repair to ensure that all our items are of the highest quality for each rental.
  • RRPs and ERRPs: We display each item's price as it was when sold new - Recommended Retail Price (RRP). As some of our stock has had a previous life before joining our collection, some items' pricing is estimated - Estimated Recommended Retail Price (ERRP). This is based on careful research considering the RRP of similar items from the same brand or items of the same standard and level of design and construction. This is clearly marked on each item's product details. 
  • Sizing is marked as displayed on the garment label or the UK equivalent for international brands. Fit information is supplied in the product details of each garment. For items that include measurements, these represent the garment laid flat, with the chest as the distance from armpit to armpit (p-p) and the waist as the distance from side seam to side seam.

Rent

  • All of our items are available for 4, 8, 16 or 30 days rental. Please note items take up to 48 hours for delivery not including weekends. We suggest you book for one working day before you need the item. 
  • Add the chosen item/s to the cart and proceed to checkout. Add postage for your location. You will receive confirmation of your upcoming rental and confirmation when your item/s are dispatched. If, for any reason, your rental is not accepted e.g. the previous rental on your item is overdue, you will receive an email detailing why.
  • Your item will arrive 48 hours after your order or on the first day of rental, whichever comes first.

Return

  • Your item needs to be back in the post on the final day of your rental period to ensure we don’t miss any upcoming rentals. Late fees may apply should the item not be returned on time.
  • Please reuse the packaging the order was received in as far as possible. Stick the pre-paid returns label on the front of the parcel and return at your nearest FedEx drop off point. 
  • For example if you have a four day rental. Your item will arrive on day 1 of your rental (or just before). You can wear it day 1, 2, 3 and take it to the parcel drop off on day 4.

FAQs

  • What if my rental doesn't fit?

We supply as much information on sizing as possible to ensure that the item you choose fits. If you have any issues with fit, the item can be returned for a refund minus delivery costs and a restocking fee. If you have any issue with your item please get in touch by email [email protected] 

  • What if I am not happy with my rental?

If there is a problem with the condition of your rental please contact us immediately upon receipt of your item. Email [email protected]

  • What if I accidentally damage my rental?

We expect our customers to look after their rentals as if it's their own clothing, and take extra care as any damages can affect a future customers' order. We do understand that accidents can happen. If you believe you have damaged your item, please get in touch with our team as soon as possible by email [email protected]

When items return to our service partner ACS, the team will repair any damage. This process may take up to 10 working days whilst the team attempts repair and/ or stain removal. If an item is damaged beyond repair, you will need to pay a replacement fee.
