Worthwhile Story

This is a Stella McCartney dress and I bought it for my daughter’s wedding. She initially planned a big wedding for about 150 people, but then lockdown happened, and they decided they still wanted to get married in the same place but only with 17 people. I was determined to get a dress made as I wanted to make sure no one else had the same dress. I had a lovely lady in Aberdeen making me a dress, but in the end, because of lockdown, I couldn’t see her. We had a spell where things opened and as I was driving from London, I went to Bicester Village to look for a dress. I went into Stella McCartney and was trying on much more fluid dresses when the shop assistant suggested a dress. She told me it was the dress Amal Clooney wore to the Royal Wedding. So, I tried it on, and surprisingly I felt really great in it as I don’t usually wear fitted dresses. I always think back to Amal Clooney wearing it, too.
