Worthwhile Story

My Mum made this dress for my wedding day. Due to visa restrictions, we had to get married in Russia back in 2008. It was February, proper Russian Winter, -14. I travelled to Russia first to prepare documents and other arrangements. It was amazing to spend time with my Mum again, having been away from home by then for 3 years. My mum always wanted to be a designer, but, having come from a medical family, she didn't pursue her dream professionally. She did continue to make outfits for people and designed my dress, chose fabric and made it in only a couple of days, working through the night to finish it right before my wedding day.
