Worthwhile Story

This is my wedding dress that I bought in 2008 for my December wedding in Edinburgh. My parents, sister and mother-in law and my best friend went down to a bridal shop in Haymarket, Edinburgh, that no longer exists to try on dresses. The trouble with Scottish weddings where the men wear colourful kilts, is that it makes it harder for the wedding dress to match with them than if they were all wearing black or grey suits. At last, I chose this one which was white, no train, and with wine red embroidery along the bodice. And it was perfect. It was lovely and I felt amazing wearing it. Apart from wearing it at the wedding, I wore it one more time 3 months after the wedding, at a reception for my husband and me at my parents’ new home in Florida.
